Neil is heading for the Olympics

BALLOCH footballer Neil Price is going to this year's Special Olympics. Neil (26) will be attending the games in Shanghai this October, where he will play in one of the teams representing Scotland.

A ceilidh was held to help fund the trip, and Neil has also been supported his colleagues at Tesco Extra, who have donated a total of £700, £200 of which was raised from a no-uniform day.

Neil said he'd like to thank everyone who has supported him so far, especially his mum, Mary-Ellen.
