215 Special Olympics Athletes from Great Britain had an experience of a life time in Shanghai, China, without the aid of our partners and supporters it would not have been possible. Virgin Atlantic transported the GB Team, support staff and supporting media from London to Shanghai to take part at the World Summer Games. As an Official Partner, Virgin Atlantic looked also to support the Special Olympics movement through media awareness.

Follow your Dreams campaigned to support the Special Olympics Athletes around Britain and helped them fulfil their dream to go to Shanghai. The money was raised by generous public donations and purchases of memorabilia at the Follow Your Dreams Roadshows around the country.
